Alexandria is majoring in Business and International Political Economy at College of Idaho. She has always been passionate about traveling and plans to pursue a career where she’ll be able to travel the world. In high school, she was diagnosed with dyslexia and a minor case of ADHD. Today, she is committed to helping others overcome obstacles and follow their dreams. Alexandria is thankful for the support of her friends and family on this adventure.

Alyssa, 22, is a licensed cosmetologist and a certified yoga instructor. She is an independent business owner who considers herself to be a lifelong learner, always excited to meet new people and learn new things. She enjoys being active and is a dedicated runner, but also loves to relax with family and friends. She is honored to be a part of the Miss Universe organization, and is excited of the opportunity it brings

Brooke is a 20-year-old sophomore at Lewis-Clark State College pursuing a degree in Communication Arts. While attending school, she also works as a barista at a local coffee shop and as a cheer coach for a middle school team. She hopes to put her degree towards a career where she can continue to have an influential role in the community. Brooke would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support.

Charlie grew up in a military family and traveled around Europe. Early exposure to various cultures and historical sites rendered her career path. She will graduate with a BA in History from Boise State University this fall. She is an executive representative for the local non-profit organization, #4TheAbility, in the Pacific Northwest. Charlie’s biggest fan is her late mother, Pamela, who unfortunately passed unexpectedly pageant weekend in 2015.

Danielle, you can call her Dani, is excited to be your Miss Meridian USA 2017! She was born here in Idaho, and lived here for most of her life. While in college, and afterwards, she spent time studying abroad and teaching ESL in Korea. But, she loves the U.S. and Idaho, and she’s happy to be studying in preparation for graduate school and to represent her city at Miss Idaho USA 2018!

Delaney, a competitive figure skater for 10 years, now coaches both Figure Skating and Hockey at Idaho IceWorld sharing her love for both sports with her students. She currently attends CWI and is pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant.  Her greatest passion though is giving back to the community. Delaney hopes with the Miss Idaho USA title and community service she can bring awareness to Anxiety and Depression disorders that affect young adults.

Erin has a degree in sign language interpreting and mass communications. She is passionate about being an ally in the deaf community and making sure deaf individuals have equal access to communication through interpreters or other resources. Erin spends her free time enjoying the outdoors in Idaho and volunteering in the community. While she has been traveling internationally since she was 14 years old, she says Idaho is truly a hidden gem.

Jenni, 22, is currently fulfilling a lifelong dream of studying Wedding and Event Consulting at Stratford University. Jenni has been performing in dance and musical theater since the age of 6 and is heavily involved with community productions in addition to teaching preschool. As a committee member of My Brother’s Back, a Charitable Organization, she is passionate about raising awareness for children with disabilities and is excited for the opportunity to represent her community.

Katelyn, 19, is a sophomore at North Idaho College. Born and raised in Post Falls, she enjoys everything North Idaho has to offer from downtown beaches to the back woods of the Coeur d’Alene mountains. She is passionate about volunteering at Children’s Village, a local nonprofit. She loves traveling and is saving money to go help children in third world countries. Being the outgoing, welcoming person she is, she makes friends everywhere she goes!

Not only is she an engineer, but she started her own marketing company & has her own social media marketing software being released soon! Her motto is “If you can dream it, YOU CAN DO IT!”

Paityn Frederick is currently working on a degree in Secondary Education with an endorsement in English and history. She’s an active member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority at the University of Idaho. One of her greatest passions is boosting the morale of Greek Life while working with the women in her house on their philanthropic mission, building strong girls. Her goal is to push young girls to be confident in their transition to womanhood.

Rachel is a Junior at Boise State University dual majoring in Criminal Justice and Theatre Performance. She directed/participated in numerous theatrical productions during her time at Baumholder, a U.S. Army post in Germany, and saw firsthand the positive impact the performing arts had on those struggling with PTSD or those coping with the deployment of a loved one. This sparked her idea to become a police officer, so she can constantly help and protect those in difficult situations.

Shania, 21, raised in Coeur d’ Alene Idaho. Her career includes fundraising for local non- profit hospitals to ensure a great sustaining community hospital. In her free time she enjoys playing with her special needs puppy, Gabby. In her teenage years, she endured over 15 surgeries to cure stomach paralysis. Although never cured Shania lives each day to the fullest. Shania loves to chat so next time you see her be sure to say hi.

Sierra is attending Bryn Mawr College on a Presidential Scholarship, studying pre-medical/psychology with plans to become a pediatric psychiatrist. She has always been passionate about helping children and has worked on state and national levels regarding issues from childhood hunger to educational rights. She also enjoys modeling, acting, and traveling. As Miss Idaho USA 2018, Sierra looks forward to using the opportunities the MUO platform provides to make a greater positive impact on youth!

Téa is a senior at Boise State University studying Human Biology, with the ultimate goal of becoming a physician assistant. She currently works at a local hospital and finds joy in making her patients smile and heal.  In her spare time, Tea coaches dance to young children for the Bosnian Cultural Center of Idaho. She would like to use the title of Miss Idaho USA to promote higher education and self-confidence.
